Harry Potter's Gryffindor Quiddich team including 3 students of Walters Rd Public School, Blacktown

This was a challenging project starting with a bare brick wall 8 metres wide by 3.5 metres high.
Being in the full sun from 11am till 5.30 pm, I worked from first light, had a long break, then into the night with lights. I wanted to have equal numbers of males and females in the mural, so asked the Principal Jodi Warner to choose 3 girls for me to depict on Harry's Gryffindor team. The rough brick wall required extensive filling and sanding during preparation with 5 base-coats of paint for maximum effect and durability.
The friendly staff and students made working at this school a pleasure.
